Company Area
The company REFLEX Zlín is located in the newly built manufacturing complex on the outskirts of the city district Zlín - Lůžkovice near the industrial zone. This new fully modern manufacturing complex arose after the reconstruction disused farm buildings.
This project has been realised with support of Czech Ministry for Industry & Trade budget and the EU Structural Funds. During few months the whole area has been rebuilt for the company purposes under strict complying of the original character of all buildings. From the previously neglected and dilapidated buildings arose gradually neat plants and offices with above-standard facilities.
Thermal equipment (incinerator):
Using of the polyester resins and gelcoats lead after opening of the cans and following chemical initiating reactions to releasing of organic substances of styrene into the working-place enviroment. Acetone is used only for cleaning hand tools and release organic pollutants into the air, too.
Drilling and grinding of the hardened polyester addds also a certain percentage to the air pollution with organic substances. Therefore, the working place ist permanently exhausted so as to these organic pollutants burn in the high-performance incinerator. The German technology was acquired for 10 million czech crowns with the support of the Ministry of the Environment. Air units added air to the laminating workshop. The system is configured to prevent fugitive emissions.
The whole process is approved and described in detail. The air from the thermal plant and from the dispatch store as well is measured on the total VOCs (volatile organic compounds) emissions permanent each year. Measurement are also carried out on chemical and scent substances each year and the results of the measurements that meet the strict limits are reported to the state authorities . The company complies in full the conditions defined by the law.
